BIOGRAPHY

Stephen Powers works in a door mill, cutting and stacking wood, but in his spare time he dreams seriously of ways to improve the future and to solve the problems facing humankind in the years to come. It is something he has done since the fourth grade, when he began drawing underwater cities which would alleviate the over-population of the continents. He was born in Santa Cruz, California, in 1958, attended acting school for two years, then went into the family roofing business before finding work at the door factory. He lives in Aberdeen, Washington, with his three children.
