BIOGRAPHY

Oskar Herzberg was diagnosed with senile mania during his years in various mental institutions. His vital statistics remain unknown, but hospital records show that he worked as a servant and typesetter in Frankfurt am Main, Germany; that before 1912 he was in several mental institutions in Altscherbitz, Germany; and that from 1912 to 1914 he underwent psychiatric treatment in Vienna. He was fascinated by comets and astronomical events.
