BIOGRAPHY

Tim Fowler was born June 11, 1958 and raised in South Hadley, Massachusetts. After high school Fowler worked briefly at the paper mill his father managed. Not interested in college or a factory job, he traveled around the country, settling in Seattle in 1977. Living frugally, he turned a small nest egg and income from odd and seasonal jobs into the funds to buy and rebuild a condemned house. He lives there today, working principally as a roofer. Fowler began carving at fourteen and makes "wooden political cartoons and occupational gods."
